New sign painting up at Las Estrellas Dual Language School in NE Minneapolis.
New sign painting up for Las Estrellas Dual Language School in NE Minneapolis. 24x72,” latex paint on wood paneling + wall.
Las Estrellas is in the process of incorporating its mascot (the owl) into its hallways to connect with students and build its identity. With that said, the mascot uses dual text to help the children with comprehension and enhance their cognitive skills. Since their library sign needed a makeover… I combined the owl and the library signage to help get the message across.

New sign painting up at Forgotten Star Brewery in Fridley, MN. - Sign writing on glass is always a tricky balancing act because your eyes flip between the stencil (located on the front side of the glass) and the surface you’re painting on (backside). This can cause your focus to go in and out as you paint. (sometimes I close one eye to help me to concentrate)..

Here are individual pictures of the four garage doors I painted for Naab Machinery Sales in Blaine, MN. Each door took about two days to complete. I painted the yellow letters first, then the red cast shadow.
