  • Traveled worldwide to manage exhibition installations.

  • Oversaw packing/shipping of artwork to and from the studio, managed all private viewings and incoming conservation evaluations.

  • Advised staff on paint production matters and assisted with coordinating exhibitions.

  • Managed 10+ studio assistants in the production of paintings for the artist Mickalene Thomas; responsible for process and quality of the artwork.

  • Scheduled and trained studio assistants in all aspects of paint production, including panel prep, canvas prep, color matching/mixing,
    figurative/landscape/decorative painting, trompe l'oeil, acrylic, oil, and enamel paint mediums, paint spraying, varnishing, art handling.

  • Ordered and maintained studio supplies and materials.

  • Developed project timelines, coordinating workflow with the artist.

  • Packaged and stored fine art items and managed all art handling and installations.

Kaikai Kiki New York. Studio Manager. Long Island City, NY (2006-2010)

  • Managed a multinational staff of 15+ studio assistants in the production of paintings for the artist Takashi Murakami; responsible for process and quality of artwork.

  • Scheduled and trained studio assistants in all aspects of paint production, including, panel prep, canvas prep, color mixing/matching, screen printing,
    acrylic paint application, paint spraying, detailed brushwork/line work, varnishing, gold leafing, art handling.

  • Ordered studio supplies and materials and scheduled delivery to optimize workflow.

  • Packaged and stored fine art items, managing handling and installation.

  • Maintained all studio facilities, equipment, and machinery.

  • Managed the storage, organization, and maintenance of Mr. Murakami’s private art collection.

  • Assisted Kaikai Kiki artists represented by Mr. Murakami in the production of their artwork.

  • Project Manager: Managed 4000 sq. foot studio renovation (2008).
    Building reconstruction included raised ceilings, two spray booths, dark room facilities with silkscreen exposure unit, expanded silkscreen storage area and wash out sinks.
