I purchased a framed print by the artist Robert Duncan from GoodWill Thrift Store at 1239 University Ave W, St. Paul, MN. The print, ‘Curious Onlookers,’ shows cows watching a boy as he walks by with his dog in the snow. I painted a rubber duck on the print and returned this ‘new’ artwork back to the same thrift store on 5/01/2024, around 12:30pm….

New sign painting on a scrap piece of wood. ‘Ice2’ - 14 3/8 x 15 3/4”, acrylic and enamel paint.

I had the pleasure of painting some signs at the Target Workshop (Mpls) this past week. “Happy Holidays” and snow graphics were hand painted onto the side of two push carts. I believe they were going to be used at some sporting events… but I really didn’t get wind of the details. Just paint it and go!
In any case.. I hope the work helped add to the holiday cheer!
New fairground food signs in the pipeline.
New sign painting on paper, 16x26" each. (These are not photographed correctly but I wanted to share them anyway) I decided to make a series of food signs.... because, well, maybe that's just how I feel lately. Comfort food for some, junk food for others. Definitely nostalgic, blatant.
More to come! Pop-corn might be next, or cotton candy(?)
